Product Description:

D-26, 1,2-Bis(trimethoxysilyl)ethane, is a disilane developed and produced independently by Hubei BlueSky New Materials INC. They have 6 alkoxy groups on one molecule, which is twice as many as ordinary silane coupling agents; After hydrolysis, the product can form more covalent bonds with the hydroxyl groups on the surface of metals and inorganic materials, resulting in a higher cross-linking density on the surface of inorganic materials and enhancing adhesion to them.

Application:

· One of the raw materials for environmentally friendly organic silicon surface treatment solution without phosphorus and heavy metals,  replacing traditional phosphating and passivation processes.

· It can be used as a cross-linking agent in adhesives and sealants to provide higher cross-linking density, improve hardness and bonding strength of the adhesive.

· Additives for dealcoholized and conductive RTV-2 silicone rubber.

· Used in organic silicon coatings to increase hardness, weather resistance, and adhesion of the coating.

· Used in aerogels to improve the toughness.
